365+1 Spooky Duck

Today was a free choice day and I took the light relief route. This picture will do nothing to dispel Kirsti's view that I don't actually do anything at work lol.

It's dry ice dispersing in the sink with the departmental CO-OP ducks having a swim. Their normally found in the water-bath so it was a change of scene for them today.

365+1 Motionless

The prompt today for the 365 challenge was "Motionless" and I had to have a think about it for a bit.

I was working late today so there was no rush hour motionless to show and there's normally plenty of that.

However when I came home I found the perfect motionless picture in the form of a small boy who has crept into my side of the bed and is hogging it. He has apparently been playing Daddy up tonight.

As it's late past boy bedtime and dark to boot there is not a lot of motion going on now. So being inventive here is my take on today's prompt "Motion"

This is the flight schedule for one of the helicopter companies and it is responsible for a lot of motion in this house all year round for Mr Wright's transport needs.

More Hipstamatic although I'm not sure it's the right look for this photo. That however is half the fun with this challenge playing around with different effects.

Snap 2012 Week 3 Red

The prompt on Snap 2012 over on UKScrappers this week was "Red".

I loved this photo I took with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone and it's red really goes without saying it's "Old School"!



I did however totally miss the rule of thirds tip until I was uploading the photo to UKS. I like it so it's staying and the rule of third will appear another week.

Today the prompt was "Hot" and it was the easy option as I was working late. Here is my cuppa at my tea break with the Hipstamatic filter. Got to love Hipstamatic!

The prompt for today was "Fire".

Here is what I think of for Fire. I always get covered in coal when I'm getting it from the bunker.

It is nice to have the fire ready to go as it's pretty chilly in Scotland just now.
